Any one with oil consumption ? my G35 6mt with 5500m is taking 1qt for every 1000m, I'm usin dyno oil for now 10W30, the word from Nissan wait........for what?????????????

 

I used Mobil1 5W30 at my 15K oil change and the VQ averaged consumption of approx 1/2 quart every 3000 miles. The oil consumption you're experiencing seems way too high. It is likely that you may be getting an inaccurate reading from the dipstick. We've all had to fight with this issue, it usually takes several attempts for me to get an accurate reading. I suspect this is the issue... I doubt your VQ is consuming that much oil.
