cold air intake problem...someone help please

can someone please help me figure out what is wrong with my cai? i just installed it on my 03 g35. i did everything properly, but when i start up my car, it idles up and then shuts off. every hose is connected, and the sensor is faced in the right direction. does anyone know what i can do to fix this problem????

maybe it's clogged or a leak? lol idk just a guess.. have you double checked all of the steps

sounds like something is up with the mass air flow sensor...

did you unplug it during the install? was the battery unplugged as well before and after the MAF was unplugged/plugged?

i never unplugged the sensor or the battery. do i need to unplug anything or reset the battery????

i just figured it out, i had the sensor facing the wrong way,..im an idiot,..thanks so much for all the help.

well, did have something to do with the MAF...
