So when i start my car my lights and fans just turn off and on...? And the speedo and tec don't work. If i sit there it doesn't do it as much once it heats up.. and out of what may be luck it all started after i got a flat.. but the biggest thing is that the Speedo doesn't work, the tec jumps when i first start the car but then it goes to zero..checked all the fuses and the battery connections,... Any one have any idea's...?

 

did you check the fuses behind the battery and have you added anything to your car lately

 

Yea... i check all the fuses....and the newest thing i got for the car was the battery which is over a month old... I did read that a few people have had the same problem after driving in heavy rain... and i did drive though a ok size puddle.... some i doing a long re set of the ECU....

I have the same thing happen to me, but after an ECU reset it seems to working now. I use the touching Neg and Pos terminal method. Make sure you don't have after market stereo otherwise use other ways to reset ECU.

 

Yea... Resetting the ECU worked the problem is gone. and everything is working Normal so far... still have to replace the tire then i really check the VDC system
