Yea, thats the sound that I think my Throttle Body Sensor is making everytime I try and start my car....

So, basically I just recently had my plenum polished and I was re-installing it. Everything work out pretty good, got all the hoses installed and all the bolts were torqued and in the correct order and then I installed my Richie Strut Bar, all done. I sat in the car and put the key in the ignition and turn it to ON, and the problems began: Problem #1) VDC & Airbag Light was dimming in/out... So, then I tried to start my G. Problem #2) Nothing happens, all I hear is a click, click, click coming from somewhere in the near vicinity of my Throttle Body Sensor...Ok, so I'll by that, cars been sitting for a little over a week, maybe its time to reset this bad-boy...So, run into the house and get the reset Throttle Body Procedure, I do it....and what the heck, while I'm at it, lets just reset the ECU also...so, I look that procedure up on driver...1st sticky I believe and start to do that, which is the same as the On Board Diagnostic System Section in the Maintenance Manual...Problem#3) I got back in the G to start the procedure and noticed my radio was blinking on & off in while the key was in the "ON" position, once I took it back to the "ACC" position it just stayed and on and played music like a radio is suppose to do, so I said to myself, looks like the ECU really needs some resetting, so I started with resetting procedure and I got the MIL to blink on like the 3rd try, but everything was still dimming in/out. So I preceeded to check my windows Problem#4) and the passenger side window rolled down just fine, but wouldnt roll up... ...

So, that is my dilemma....
What I think are probable causes:
1) Loose ground
2) Loose EVAC Line & Broken Window Roll-up Module
3) Faulty Throttle Body Sensor & Broken Window Roll-up Module

Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

I think youre just out of batteries. Try jump starting it. And ECU doesnt control everything in the car, mostly only engine related. Windows, radio, and other accessories are controlled by BCM. When you try to reset the ECU to fix the radio, it doesnt make any sense.

No, I tried resetting the ECU to reset the Throttle Body Sensor, they say you should reset it everytime you disconnect anything engine related..

Well that part implies you reset the ECU because you think something is wrong with radio.

Anyways, go try jump starting your car.

This was my first time polishing an APS plenum and I must say it is a really nice plenum. It is very lightweight, has extra vac outlets, and has a nice overall shape. I am comsidering getting one myself now. The only downside is that it is a little more poreous(?) than OEM. It seems like the casting is done at a much lower pressure to make it not so dense in order to save weight. Overall, I give it two thumbs way up!
