Anyone increase their redline?

Hey guys!

Has anyone managed to increase their redline??

"Cosworth CNC ported Big Valve cylinder heads come complete with a performance valve job, hi rev (max 10,500rpm)"

i'm addicted to revs..... i want to max out my rev on my coupe!

thinking about getting
Nissan VQ35 CNC Ported Big Valve Cylinder Heads (KK3671)
Nissan VQ35 High Performance Short Block 3.5L High Compression (KK3879)
280degree Tomei cams

I'm wondering if this will max out my redline to 10.5k!!!!!!

i'm thinking of shooting an email at cosworth and ask them if their stuff will increase our redline and by how much. 6.5k rpm redline is getting boring

i've got the full nismo heads setup with their 272 cams on the way. A lot of other supporting mods as well but i'm going to be going for 8500rpm. . .

check out this link on the my350z website. . .i think he's leading the way as far as n/a power goes. . .

The E-Manage Ultimate has a checkbox to disable speed limiter. I haven't tested to see if it actually works.

Getting a lump of a V6 to spin to 10,500 rpm would probably take more than a crate Nissan high performance short block. Then there's the question if you have enough cam to make any power at those rpm levels.

Again, it's a waste of capacity if the rest isn't up to is. One would probably have to get the longblock built by Cosworth to take advantage of that redline
