On my display between my tach and speedo it says REV. What does that mean?

It means REV the engine until the light underneath starts blinking

 

since you hae an 05, rev is the sound that is made when your in a higher gear. to make it simple, check under the hood ad remove the engine cover. once exposed, you'll see this:

Is that seriously what it means? I have to rev the engine, that cant be rite, can, it? Im seriously interested, so... I thought that area is supposed to clue you in as to whne to shift, i.e. up arrow, down arrow!

 

you can set a pre-determined rpm for the light to come on using the button that resets the trip odometer, and the light will come on when you hit that rpm, letting you know to shift

 

But what does it staying at REV constantly mean, it doesn't ever change!

 

They want you to step on the gas more.

The f'ing speed limit where i live is 25 everywhere, except the highway, I cant really give it much more gas than I am.

 

It doesn't mean anything, it is just a light that's always on... telling you to REV it up so that the real rev light underneath it will come on

There is a rectangular red LED under the word REV which is a shift light indicator. You set the RPM to set the indicator by holding the trip reset button. By holding it for like 2-5 seconds, a number will start flashing. You push the reset button to change the number to whatever you want, typically where you would normally shift. Once set, the red LED under the REV word will start flashing about 300-500 RPM before your set limit. Once the limit is reached, the LED will stay solid red.
