I didnt believe these would work either so I tested them and got positive results. I put these in my bone stock 08 Nissan Titan I gained over 10whp and torque under the curve. Something odd was going on at 5000rpm on all 3 dyno runs the pulstar plugs dropped off to slightly less than stock whp so the peak power showed a slight loss. We did not reset the computer as reccomended we did 3 dyno pulls with stock plugs put the Pulstars in and did 3 more dyno pulls. We are going to dyno it again after I have run a few tanks of fuel through it to give the computer time to learn and see if it makes more power. The heat ranges are typically higher than FI guys would like but Pulstar claims they do not run as hot as regular plugs so you dont need as cold of a plug. I will let someone else test that theroy.

Oops! Crap!

My last statement was missing a very key word - NOT.

I am NOT attempting to endorse these. Just getting apparently empirical data in front of folks so they can make there own educated decisions.

Guess I should take more time to proof read.

Sorry.

You could mention that you're a member on here and people are very interested in their product but understandably don't want to spend that kind of money on spark plugs without independent verification of whp gains.
Well, idk what its worth to anyone here, but Modified Mag DID actually dyno them in their latest release. They showed RWHP +10.4 and 7.0. Whether I can still believe that from a spark plug idk, but definitely check out the magazine if your interested to see it. They dynoed it on an 06 350Z Roadster which should be doing 306 at the crank if its a stick shift. No other mods done yet. I have been debating them as well, so keep us updated if you can!

I can't remember what mag. it was but its still on the newstands for anyone interested.
I just posted on this as well, Modified Mag did it in their April release, was 10.4 rear wheel power

I think results for this will vary depending on the application and the state of the tune of the car before installation. If there is any misfiring in the first place, then I can see these helping - particularly at high rpm. I don't think they'll hurt anything - except the wallet. Not enough data on longevity and reliability. If these don't foul and last longer in FI applications - that would be worth something to me even without any HP gain.

Talking These things work.

You will see 1-4 HP at the wheels. In a 2007 G35 Coupe. The 10 hp is not a real number for the coupe. But you will get better gas mileage out of them. I went from 14-16 mpg to 18-20 mpg. They do not run any hotter than the NGK's the coupe comes with. If you really want proof of this I can tell you that my car has never seen any temperature related issues. My mechanic works at the dealership installed these plugs and we tested the engine temp.
It went down!

I have some nice engine mods now and I think that these plugs enchanced them. Cold Air, Plenum, and these plugs were phase one. Phase two is a Borla dual exhaust, and high flow CATS. Should be done by the end of the month.

I will let you know what the total hp gains look like.

uh 1-4 hp eh? That is w/in the variance of a dyno pull. Do you have the dyno to back ur claims. Butt dynos and word of mouth aren't proof. better gas mileage is also had when you install any new set of plugs from old ones.

i know everyone wants to see dyno's,

I don't have any...

But I did get the pulsh*ts

i didn't feel any difference AT ALL, it doesn't rev any faster, nothing... But with that being said,

this mod is like buying anything else, exhaust*assuming you don't lose enough low end power on nonboosted*, intake, plenum, whatever it may be, it's the combination of the all mods that will give the power. Not just the one mod. so if i did everything together maybe I would have felt a difference, but as for now, i kinda wish i had that 160 in my pocket.

regret it.

give your engine time to adjust to the plugs. They will pay for themselves with better gas mileage. They won't cure cancer but they will give you better gas mileage.

How much better mileage? Did you get consistently better results?

pulsplugs

I have about 4000 miles on my pulstar plugs. I get 21mpg in town and 28 mpg on the highway. My G is an 05 with 61000 miles on it and I just got the 60k service done on it. I have a stillen intake with the Z tube, Z1 motorsports plenum spacer, stillen test pipes, U. O. racing underdrive pully set, stillen grounding wires, and a stillen dual cat back exhaust. i have seen no problems with these plugs.
