Repetitve whistling noise

Hi guys,

I have this repetitive whistling noise coming from the left side when looking into the engine bay. I have an 04 6MT and when a similar noise appeared on my previous car it was the power steering fluid that needed to be refilled. Does anyone have any other possible origins for the noise?

Thanks in Advance

check some of your hoses. Try to have someone else in your car and turn it on while you check it.

I recently have the same problem on my 05 6mt too. I thought my spacer had a vacuum leak. I used carburetor cleaner to check for leak, but couldn't find any. I'm guessing it has to do with the belt.

Does anyone know what's causing that noise?

Thanks.
