Can someone help me with my problem? I bought a 2004 coupe back in November. About 2 days after i drove it off the lot, i noticed a loud clanking noise when i started the car. After about 5 seconds it quits and the car runs fine. I have heard that there is an oil comsuption problems with these cars, but i have already checked that. Can someone tell me what they think before I take it to the dealer on Monday?

Timing chain has too much slack and could be stretched/worn?
Just a thought being it's 3+ years old, mileage is unknown and past history of how it was treated from previous owner unknown

My 06 doesn't make that sound.
