german castrol or amsoil 0-30w

 

Bought my G used. Previous owner always used Castrol Syntec 5-30.
So I just continued. (not that it would really matter if I switched to another syn)...I did a Blackstone analysis at 5K miles (added a 1/2 qt. at 4K) after the last change...report was excellent. They suggested I keep going at least another 2K miles and maybe do another test.
Based on all that, I have no reason to do anything any different. Presently have just over 30K on car.

 

German Castrol full syn 0W30 and Purolator Pure One. Used to use Mobil 1 10W30 but my VQ burned a quart every 5,000 miles. Since switching to German Castrol it doesn't burn a drop.

Umm how do you tell the difference between the "German" Castrol and like regular Castro Syntec 5w30?

 

the german castrol says made in germany on the back, the regular stuff says made in new jersey. I can't find any of the german stuff locally.

 

Mobil 1 full synthetic 5w-30... just swiched from royal purple

 

Anyone had any experience with ENEOS 0-50W racing oil??? Talked to another G owner the other day while filling up, and he said it was great on gas efficiency and performance...

 

Why switch from Royal purple...

would you guys recommend the euro castrol over Royal Purple & Mobil 1???
