You won't see more than 300whp-310whp most likely on an all motor G, thats the highest I've ever seen. It was also more expensive than most built motor twin turbo G's.

damn really

300whp thats it

even with high comp pistons, valvetrain/cams, tune, some head work...

is it just hard to work on these motors or is there just little room for improvement going NA

Just too expensive. Not hard or no room for improvement it is just too expensive. That is my goal though when the car gets paid off hopefuly at the end of this year.

Nissan really did do a good job on this motor that is why it is so expensive to get more n/a.

Yea, I think that most people who look into a n/a build quickly decide to go turbo.

Agreed, spacers, intake, and exhaust help overall, and it just feels better than stock, esp. for the earlier years.

But if you really want something to set you back in your seat, FI is the most cost-effective way to go, and it works!

There are a few dedicated NA people with G35's... to be honest, most of them are on my350z where the is a lot more interest and a "Built NA" forum. The forum is new, and the post count is small...

yea.. they just stood up that section, and of course you'll find alot more info there than here.. i don't think there's enough gearheads here to stand up a sub-forum when its so easy just to get on our sister site and find more than enough info on building up an NA motor...

i'm always there for tech support, product reviews etc. . .still working on building my ~300whp n/a engine. . .

there are only a few dedicated people that are actually building their engines up, i.e. going farther than the usual bolt-ons to make power. . .

i'm for an all-engine sub forum but it'll just get filled up with questions like "what's the best bolt on for power, what's the best this/that?!?! etc.etc.". . .basically another intake/exhaust section. . .

An All-NA Built Motor subforum in this forum would be emptier than an Alaskan G35driver regional forum

.
