questions about plenum spacers
questions about plenum spacers
im trying to decide what plenum spacer to buy. I want to know what would people recomend as far as price hp/tq gains and compatability with stock parts. Also i noticed some are less money thatn others even when they all claim to make the same hp gains (about 10+rwhp). I wanna pull the trigger on one soon gimme your thoughts
I purchased the angled spacer from Altered Atmosphere because they are located very close to me and great to work with.
I installed it myself with no trouble at all following their instructions. Without question it gave me very noticeable gains and also improved the sound (made it deeper) at high RPMs.

MD (Motordyne) has proven reliability, performance, and the best customer service... you will find that by far the majority of VQs use MD products when modifying plenum - and for good reason.

You can do the 1/2" spacer if you don't care about keeping the engine cover.
If you live in an area where it gets really cold, do the Copper version.

Also, the angled spacer will allow you to keep an engine cover on if you decide to get a strut bar.
