Car just shut down...
I'm at a light and when I go to take off there is like no POWER at all, car is running but it wasn't getting power it seemed like, I put it in first and tried to take off and it would not do ****, Then the service engine soon light came on and the info popped up that I needed to find a dealership on the nav. screen. Can anyone tell me why that happened???

same here man i had to pay the dealership 4000$ to fix it cuz i tried to fix it and they said i had to pay if i want it to be fixed. the car get all crazy and **** like it turns on and u it dont drive or like some times it wont turn off it was really bad like the comp with burned.... but i think that what happened to u..
My 2004 G35X did the same thing and then ran ok, but still had the check engine light (CEL?) on. The fault code was P2135 which I think is throttle position sensor. After further diagnosis the fault was traced to a faulty throttle PEDAL position sensor - the drive by wire lever assembly, not the TPS. It was replaced under warranty (I've got 9,400 miles on it). The model/part # for the complete lever assembly is 18002-am81d, $147.98. No problems since.
Before this happened I would punch the gas and it would pause for a second, then go. Now it has much better throttle response.
