boring question

anyone change their own oil?

is the filter difficult to get to/change?

recommended online store to get quality filters?

Quite a few people change their own oil. Nissan filter are better (and cheaper) than the majority of the oil filters out there.

Here's a test a couple of the SE-R guys did a while back comparing quite a few oil filters...

The later model filter listed (which now would be a 15208-65F00) is the normal filter for the G35. You can also use the slightly longer 15208-9E000 filter as it has the same thread pitch and outer diameter as the 65F00, it just has a longer cartridge. However, this filter is not officially listed as one that works with the G35 in the Infiniti/Nissan parts system,e ven though it does/will.
