Nismo or Stillen exhaust

But i've heard that stillen sounds a bit better than the nismo.

Nismo or Stillen
I'm in the same boat as LOLmustangLOL, I just got rear ended and think this is the best opportunity to replace my OEM exhaust sytem,
I was looking at the Nismo because from some of the research I've been trying to do I found that its........
1)50-state emissions legal
and
2) Nismo parts are covered by the Nissan Parts and Accessories Limited Warranty.
As for Stillen system, I'm not sure if I'm going to have any emission problems seeing how strict California law is.
From what I can tell from You Tube videos and other sound clips both sound really good but the Stillen system sounds a little louder, not a problem personally but I just don't need to be pulled over all the time because of my exhaust.
Stillen seems to be the better choice, easier install (right?) and as GrayG35 stated better sounds and better gains.........so I guess my only question is will I be ok having it in Cali???
Thanks for the advice and input in advance.......I'm still really new to the G35 family.......
its not that we are against it, its just that for about the same price, you can get either the fast intentions intimidator, or the hk hi-power
the FI has excellent build quallity, each exhaust is built upon order, so it takes about 3 weeks, but its worth it, one guy said its like stock exhaust on steroids, it also dropped about 20 pounds in weight, the weld quality is perfect, even the inside is filed out for smooth flow, so there is no lip on the inside of where it was welded unlike most exhaust
the HKS hi-power with ti tips, just looks bad a$$, it is just as good as the FI
between the two, its all preference on looks and sound, they both have a different style, both have different sound, but BOTH are probably IMHO the best sounding exhausts ever!
or you could wait for motordyne's new exhaust(think its already out, not sure)
also FI is comming out with carbon fiber exhaust, they already have it for g37 but still in the works for the g35

go stillen, quality work. i have had the catback and i just bought stillen headers this week. i get compliments all the time. cant wait to put them on along with my brian crower cams. then a dyno tune!
If you are looking at the Stillen Single then I would pick the Nismo. The Stillen Single claims they "utilize 3" SS piping" when in fact the only 3" section is the small bend that goes into the muffler can. The exhaust necks down to 2.375 at one place and is mainly 2.5" throughout. The Nismo is a true 3" mandrel bent system. I bought the Stillen, opened it and called to return it. Luckily they accepted it back. I bought the Nismo and I'm going to get the extension welded up tomorrow so I can put it on. I was looking for a quite, OEM type system that would bolt up to my XYZ pipe, therefore all TD systems were out of the question.
