recently had a tachometer installed. But the mechs. couldnt get it to read correctly. It jumps to redline everytime i press the gas.And when i release the gas... it reads correctly. I dont have any idea what to do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, can't help. Did you replace the OEM tach with an aftermarket one?

im not to sure what the oem tach. Is that the stock tachometer in the car. If so, then no, i didnt replace, but i did put an aftermarket one in the car. i just dont know how to get it to read correctly..... anybody?
