Mod Friendly Dealership in Atlanta, GA

If your a G35 owner in the greater metro Atlanta area I found a dealership that not only is mod friendly they also have in stock the Injen CAI and the exhaust system. They also sell a smog legal High Flow CATs and they have someone who can modify the ECU chips for our cars.

The only problem I have with them is they want to charge about $180 bucks to install the Injen CAI system. Does it actually take 3 hours to install it? They charge the same amount for labor on doing the exhaust system, which I figured, was fair but for CAI that seems a little too steep for labor.

Another questions for everyone is: Has anyone installed headers on there G35? The Service Consultant said they are a mother to replace and he said it wasn't worth the money to gain an extra 10 horsepower with what it would cost to do the job.

I'm too mechanically challenged to do any of the work myself so I'm at the mercy of the dealership expect I do know of a good car shop where I've been having my old faithful Honda CRX serviced for the last 14 years so I might check with them on the labor costs since they are pretty honest and fair about everything.

The name of the Infiniti dealership is:

Nalley Infiniti located in Marietta, GA
Service Consultant is Will Untz
770-281-8611
email address is: wuntz@nalleycars.com

Hey there, I got my Nismo Exhaust and RT Cats installed at Nalley.. they are very understanding of the modifications for this car..I agree the headers would be a waste of money.. not for how much you'll pay for them. What part of atl are you from? shoot me a pm if you have any other questions

I'm in the west cobb area off of John Ward near the park. Did you do both the cats and the exhaust at the same time? How loud is the car now?

They are raping you with installation cost.
I live in Roswell, I got my exhaust put on for 60 dollars and 30 dollars for my nismo intake at regal nissan in roswell.
Dont go to Infiniti dealers( they will charge you way too much)
IF you need any parts just PM me then I could find you the best price on any product that goes on G35

Intake is not too hard to do yourself. The cats are a $35-$60 job MAX. I paid $34.75 incl. tax at a local NAPA garage. The bolts that connect the cats to the headers on the drivers side are a B!TCH to get to w/o the right tools. FYI, the Cats took between 30-45 minutes (including pulling the car in, getting it on/off of the lift, backing the car out of the garage and me paying). Figure $60 or $70 per hour for labor and have the installer charge accordingly.

Re: Mod Friendly Dealership in Atlanta, GA

yeah I did the cats and the exhaust at the same time.. the sound is pretty loud but that is exactly what I wanted..it really sounds like a V8 is under the hood. It is true that the infiniti dealerships are more expensive but I had my cats and exhaust put on at the same time my transmission had to be replaced. I have heard good things about Regal Nissan, I'll probably get my sways installed there.

Re: Mod Friendly Dealership in Atlanta, GA

Thanks for the information! I'll call my boys at Gary's Performance in Alpharhetta and see what they would charge to put on some parts. I've going to Nalley tomorrow to put on my grounding wire kit and I'll see how much they want to charge me and if its too much I'll pass and have someone else do it.

I'll PM you when I'm ready for intake.

Thanks

James
