Well i guess ill start by giving a little info about me. Im 19 and im a stock broker for a company here in good ole Texas. Currently i drive a 05 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V which had a custom turbo kit on and it made 308whp on the dyno. (pics below). Well the car is now just back to being fully bolted as a DD and im looking to get a G35. Now im no Newb to forums so i have been using the search buttom and im not going to ask what is better.... I have a few simple questions i have had a hard time finding answers for.

1.) Ive noticed people mentioning low/high rev cars? Is there there a difference in the engine between g35's.
2.) The reason i ask is because i plan on Twin Turboing the vehicle and i want to know which type you need.
3.) I love twin screw SC however ive only seen the Stillen roots SC for the VQ so is there even a Twin Screw for the VQ?

Im sure ill have more questions and ill ask if i cannot find the answer. I look forward to learning information from this forum and i cant wait to get my new G35 and dig in.

Here are pics of my spec when it was boosted.

And since the car was FWD (FTL) i needed this for traction

The non rev-up engine just has a lower redline then the rev-up...

the rev-up engines are 05-07 6MT models...

Ok thanks for quick reply. Im defiantly getting a Many Trans. I was planning on going with the later 05 up models anyways. Im assuming the higher rev ones can handle a bit more boost? Really my goal is a fun safe amount of boost. Ive read that the stock block is good to around 420hp. i think 400 or so whp should be reasonable for me. How much does a G35 coupe weigh?

Ok, i guess this brings me to my next question. Ive read up on all the different kits. (there are some lovely stickies here ) and i know the vq is also what the 350 runs so are these kits interchangeable or are there slight differences as far as the exhaust part of the kits go? After doing research im set on a TT setup for a 350 or g35. I know i may be asking this question in the wrong forum but someone here im sure can point me in the right direction. Does the 350 have the same rev up engines in the 05-up models like the G?

Thanks again for being so helpful and not flaming me out

The best thing i think you should do is go to the my350z.com site and get in the FI section. But let me warn you about that section dont ask questions like this cause the will be all over you like flies on ****....................trust me on this.

if you are after pure performance get a Z!

Yes, basically any SC or T/TT can be done on either car...

same with tune.

Ok thanks for the info. Ive been reading up on there site. Im not after pure performance however its something i would like alot of . In theory if you had a g35 TT at 400 hp and a z at 400hp Would the Z completly dominate? Once again a search for their weights has failed me.

Thanks for the links to the good reads

Ok, after searching and reading alot im definitely going with a G35 and i plan on TT or doing the Stillen SC (have not decided yet) So since i plan on going FI from what i have read i should go with a 05 or 06 MT G35. I really love the Brembo's but i can always put those on the newer models since they seem to be the best since the high rev? Does all my logic sound correct?

Thanks
