Does anyone know how to properly shift manually in an automatic g35 while using the triptronic or whatever its called? Can the car be able to shift faster or better if u know how to shift using the triptronic stick?
Get a VB Upgrade and you're 5AT car will shift faster and crisper
Get a TQ Converter and you're tranny will hold more power and can take a abuse, also you'll chirp while shifting
But then that also depends what power you putting down, a VB Upgrade is a good upgrade, again if I wasn't FI i wouldn't get it tho.

Like G35Rider said, you can't really make the 5AT shift faster and be stronger without some pretty pricey mods (normally only forced induction guys). Depending on the year of your car (if it is an 03 or the first half of 04) you can go to the dealer and have them upgrade something in the ECU to have the solenoid shift more like the 04.5 and up years. They used to do this for the old I30 and I35 people, before the G. You may want to look up more info on this, I only did this for a few close friends at the dealer many years ago and can't quite remember what the exact name of it was.
As far as how to shift it.... search here. You can find more then enough info onhow you should treat your 5AT!

i have Stillen VB upgrade, and i can say that it's not worth it for NA cars - i do have sharper shifts, but the car doesn't make enough power to necessitate this upgrade.

You're just lying to yourself by using the manu-matic mode.
