P0507 = I'm an idiot...help

So after all the warning about being carfull when cleaning the TB...I still messed it up.

I got a code pulled and it is the infamous P0507.
I took it to the Infinity dealership (who is totally retarded when it comes to knowledge about their own cars).

They said they need to run another diagnostic b/c...um just because they have to. That alone is $150.00

My question is am I better off just getting a used TB of ebay???

I already ran all the relearns and stuff...SES light went off for a while but then came back. The car is still driveable...just not quite right.

Any suggestions and should I still be driving the car?

Thanks!

I'm sorry, but that is just irony defined.

Hope everything works out!

I had the same problem. See if you are doing anything wrong with the relearn procedure. Read my post

Try this

OK i had the same thing CEL on after cleaning TB reset ECU like 6 times along with all the other steps... NOTHING worked. Took the steps above this is what worked.
took off Neg. Battery cable for over night. put it back on ... CEL is gone and car is running perfect... CEL light has not come on in two days.

You have no idea how long this has been going on!

so be removing the negative off the battery it erases the memory out of the ECU and when reconnected it puts it back in the default mode?

I have the same problem and did all the relearn procedures. Did your cel light turned on after taking out the negative battery cable off overnite?
