Rev-up???

hi, i have an 06 g35 coupe auto with sport package
and i was just curious
how do you know if you have a rev-up engine?!?!

From: Southern Cali --> 818
Only 2005-2007 6MT Coupes & 2005-2006 6MT Sedans have the revup engine.

You have an automatic. So you definately do not have a revup.

aww too bad
but i am planning to get the mrev2, copper iso thermal 5/16 spacer, jwt popcharger, unorthodox pulley set(stock diameter), Flex-a-lite 3000CFM Fan Kit, and UpRev Osiris ECU Reprogram, tuned by ztune
you think i'll get a good gain??? i want to get all that was lost from bhp to whp and same with torque

You probably wouldn't need the mrev2, I also have an 06 5at coupe and from what I understand the mrev2 really only benefits the revup engine. Also I've read here that lightweight crank pulleys can cause premature failure of your crankshaft due to vibrations that the aftermarket pulleys don't absorb properly.

There are TONS of reviews and information in this Tech Section. If you do some serious reading and searching, you should be able to get a good idea of the pros and cons of your different options.

Read, read, read, and read some more - there is a LOT to be found here.

whats is the difference between the revup and and a non revup. Sorry im a newb in the G35 scene, but im getting in there.
