Engine blow by
I recently did the spacer and I noticed that in one of the ports I'm getting blow by. All 5 other ones are clean and spotless. Are the G35's known to have any issues with the piston rings and seals?

Ring lands or rods are usually the first to go, but normally only in FI situations. Oil consumption should be pretty much fixed for '05, but every year has it's cases, the number just goes down as the models get later. You could do a compression test before jumping to more serious things, it will tell you a lot.

Negative I took of the upper and lower plenum, which then exposed the intake manifold itself. The 2nd bay from the firewall side is the one with the residue. I have the picture on my phone I will need to download it and then post it here. If its not blow by then it may very well be a shotty seal.

Alright well here it is.... notice the yellowing of the 2nd port in the manifold from the firewall. At first I thought it was blow-by, but it doesn't make any sense. I'm thinking a seal maybe fried. As of right now I'm not having any oil consumption issues. So far what has gone in has for the most part come out. I have a 5at not a 6mt.
Doesn't that "runner" turn to the right (diriver side) and is first inline with the airflow right after the MAF sensor? That would put it first inline to recieve the oil vapor from the PVC valve.

I'll make the flux capacitor and a turbonator my next mod, but right now I am more concerned if a piston ring is shot or if its less serious. If it does end up being blow-by I will do a catch can.
