Did A/C Mod..Outside temp gauge problem
Did A/C Mod..Outside temp gauge problem
Hi, im getting the stillen intake and i wanted to protect the A/c line from the new intake, so i i just wrapped the whole thing up, as some people have noted a gain in A/C productin with this mod. I used 5/8" ID insulation. The A/C feels maybe a little bit cooler (probally just mental), but ive noticed that throughout the whole day my outside temp gauge reads 65 degrees, even though i know its well over 80 here. Does anyone know what could be the problem? Thanks for the help!

Re: Did A/C Mod..Outside temp gauge problem
There is an exterior sensor in front of the grill on the right side (near the horns). This sensor occasionally goes out, I believe there is a TSB out on this. Check with your dealer.
I don't believe the A/C line and the outside temp reading had anything to do with each other.
