Re: Sportec kit sedan

I got mine from whalentire.com and highly recommend them. I got them while they were on sale so they were only $1200 shipped on 3 day ups. I haven't lowered it yet so that is probably why you see a lot of the inner fender, also it isn't on flat ground. I don't have any close-up shots of the lip on my car but if you look at the picture of the wheel on whalentire it will give you an idea, it has been raining a lot here so my car is really dirty thus no pictures. I'm not exactly sure on the weight but it should be around 40 pounds.

Re: Sportec kit sedan

Thanks G35_TX. I wonder how it would look on twilight blue. Definitely won't be as stand out as the ligher colors...
Any words on pricing and material? Any chance of group buy?

He emailed me yesterday to let me know he is still waiting for them to call him back. So at least he is keeping me informed.

Re: Sportec kit sedan

im gonna post this in another thread too, but does anyone know anybody that will copy a kit? it'll probably be in fiberglass because ive never heard of anyone making a copy in urethane. but anybody at all? from this post and others, it is already guaged that demand is super high if the price is right.

if nobody bites, i will ask my buddy at CF shop if they are interested in a carbon fiber copy. i dont know about pricing, but how many people would be interested in a CF one?

Re: Sportec kit sedan

Thanks G35_TX and nuttyprof. Greatly appreciate the same help with the community. :-)
I would definitely be interested if the replica can be done with lower pricing....

Re: Sportec kit sedan

I will only buy the kit if its a good price and it can be painted to match the car where it doesn't look odd.

Re: Sportec kit sedan

Is it possible to replicate the kit without those black grille things? I would just cut them off any way and it doesn't look like fun to fabricate. Extra costs need not apply.

Keep us informed. Thanks!

Re: Sportec kit sedan

Do they come painted to match at that price? Also, any ideas on maybe a group buy discount? Anyone interested?
