Hey i recently puchased a 06 g35 and i had a few questions, sorry if some of them are rediculous im a newb.

1. what is the shift light for in the cluster after i got my key programed at the stealership it stays illuminated red as well does the little key that usaully blinks green. they both light up red at all times im getting it looked at but i dunno what the shift means.

2. my fan sounds like its running at full speed even when the car hasnt been run long or hard and the outside temp is just warm.

3. i had my car in m mode and didnt remember and i redlined the car in 1st and i tried shifting it into 2nd while i was giving it moderate throttle, the tranny felt like it was slipping or something is that normal?

4. does my car have ICC?

 

1. It tells you when to shift. You can set it by using the switch to change your trip computer. Refer to your owner's manual.

2. That's normal.

3. Also normal.

4. No, it does not.

 

thanks mike. also would you happen to know where i see an online copy of the hand book my car didnt come with one i already tried pressing the trip reset button but it just switches from a-b i might be not doing right though, also when the trans slips like that does it wear anything out?
