Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

Is anyone interested in getting a Dyno Day setup in South Florida like they recently did in Orlando. If I get more than a few people interested, I'll try to set something up.

Let me know.

Re: Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

Funny you bring that up.

The RSX club is having a Dyno day on Sunday June 13th.

The only thing, though, is that the shop, cybernation, is not very credible. I've heard they've screwed up quite a few customers cars. If it's worth the risk, then I say go for it. It isn't for me. There is a discussion going on about their credibility on a local car forum (which you all should join!) http://www.southfloridaracing.com/fo...&threadid=9420

I went to the South Florida Z Car Club dyno day a few months back. See http://www.sfzcc.com/Events/2004/dynoday03/ for some info on the day. I was the only one with a G35, and got the 2nd highest HP number out of all the 10 350z's (only beat by 1 hp )

If you want to organize one, I'd suggest that shop. They were very professional and did an excellent job. http://www.pettitracing.com/sections/Introduction.html

We would need a decent amount of cars to show, or else it will get pretty expensive. When I was there, we paid $40 for 3 runs with O2 readings. The deal they set up was there was a maximum of 25 cars, with a minimum of 10.

So if we could get 10+ cars from here, that would be great. If not, I can ask the SFZCC if they have anyone that wants to join us. I doubt we'll have a problem getting enough cars.

Anyway, Someone needs to take charge and call the place and try to set up a date. I'd be in for this.

Re: Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

I am cool with any place. I am familiar with South Florida Performance, but it down in South Miami. There is also a good place in Opalacka that Dynamic Turbo in MIami referred me to. I am in and will coordinate if need be, but if someone else has a contact that we can leverage, it would be great. I guess we can wait and see how many people want to do it and where most of them are coming from. If most people come from West Palm, we can do it there, of Broward, or Miami, etc....

Re: Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

nostr8mia what exactly is so bad about cybernation compared to south florida performance? We're talking about the same SFP that uses methanol injection in their cars correct?

You should all come out if you have the chance, see how much your cars put down compared to my little i4 and the others, it will be a fun event as long as idiots stay away.

Re: Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

I don't care where we do it, cause no one is touching my car as far is tuning is concernced except for me. Like I said, let's find out who's interested and do it close to where ever we get the most people. I'll start the list

1) Me (Belerin)
2)

Re: Dyno Day in South Florida (Dade or Broward County)

Everyone has their own opinions about each and every shop. CN has made a positive name for themselves. Not to mention and problems in the WAY PAST were with employees who have not worked there in a year or two.

The meet will be a great time and an awesome way to meet various people with different cars and WAYYY different HP #'s. You all should go! I know a bunch of us are around here! We presume it will be big. Not to mention $10 runs!!! Come on now!

I will say that the bad experience that I had with them, was about 2 years ago.
