The Title says it all. Im a college kid on sorta a budget with myself and looking to make my G faster. I am not into moding the outside as i kinda like the idea of a N/A sleeper. What else can I do that will have a perf. diff. and is somewhat reasonable in price? Gears? Tune? Obviously Catback? Stiffer springs? Any comments would be appreciated!

I would recommend a grounding kit, pulleys and a catback, or any combo of those. I think those are the best options for performance after what you have. I am going to get a grounding kit or pulleys next. You could also go for springs or a lightened flywheel. Address whichever aspect of your car's performance that you feel you need to address. You are the one who has to drive it. Good luck!

by adding headers/exhaust/tune, wouldnt that defeat the purpose of being on a budget? especially after spending what you probably spent on what you have.

Well i think im going to do ss UR pulleys for starters. How much power will catback give me realistically? and for an osiris tune, is it worth getting a custom tune or would it just be easier to tell them the mod list and have them send me one?

get the mrev2. im in the same boat as you and im looking to get one as well. from what i have heard, the spacer isnt doing your engine any justice without the mrev2.

oh yeah i forgot the older models dont have the revup... my bad... well at the time i got the osiris i only had the spacer, so i just told them and they sent me the tune. but i love it so far!! as of buying it i have bought a z tube and i am waiting to get the mrev2 before getting a reflash. thats probably the best thing about the osiris is that you get i think 3 reflashes included? dont quote me cause it may be different than that. i go to school about an hour and a half from them, so i think i may try to get a deal with them for a custom tune once i get it though...

just go to uprev.com and call them. trust me, i am no expert on this. i called them this summer when i first got my car and knew nothing about anything, and they explained everything very clearly and answered all my noob questions. but i did look on their site and it looks like they can basically do a custom tune via email if you get the osiris standard (what i have). im gonna look into that, but it hopefully will save me a trip to austin!
