thanks did some work on it today the oil fitting were leaking a little and found some exhaust leaks also around the waste gates cant wait to get the utec so it will idle right

 

The misfire is due to a loose wire. The code should tell you which wire it is. Redo the ignition wire connectors on that cylinder. I had a misfire code for a while and had to do that to fix it. It is NOT "normal". Don't put up with it - fix it.

 

hey i checked the code but it doesnt say which one just says random miss fire do you know another way to check and you said a loose wire you talking about a ground or at the emange thanks for your help

 

Try checking your plugs, the gaping and if they are seated all the way. If the plugs are not tightened down enough or the gaping is off it may cause the spark to blow out. The code should at least tell you which cylinder it is. Do you have a reflash for the stock ecu? The reason I ask is the Utec and stock ecu tend to fight one another, especially with larger injectors. Idle tends to be the biggest hurdle.

 

i just put new spark plugs in and have stock ecu with emange blue

 

Well if you have the Utec going in and 440's, your tuner should be able to get it right. This is the system I am running now and I drive the G daily to work.

WELL GOT THE U TEC INSTALLED AND TUNED TODAY CAR RUNS good but something just happened i floored it and it fell on it face what could it be

 

what gear were you in? If you were in a higher gear and lower rpms, there might not be enough fuel to support it. In that case you need larger injectors or a fuel system upgrade. If your thinking of larger injectors, your looking at a reflash of the stock ecu or osiris etc. What did your tuner say about this?

 

well it runs fine now think something i dont know but yes my injectors are at 91% iam buying the 750cc and the return fuel,with the 8pd springs so i can boost more after christmas

 

well car still runs like crap actually it ran better with the e-manage cant floor it if i do it bogs when its half throttle it runs good what could it be besides a bad tune from sgp racing

 

oh yea still has miss fire and says bank one is lean
