Going all naturally aspirated

I was thinking for twin turbos, but since my coupe is a daily driving car, I made up mind to go for all natural...
I got nismo cai, SS pulley sets, crawford V5 plenum, dc headers, (planning to order crawford high flow cats), injen ses exhaust.... what eles can I do to my car in performance wise?
any advise or tips??

Do all the mods your going to do, then get the Technosquare ECU upgrade to specifically match YOUR Mods. It's the single most noticable mod (and better drivability) I've made so far... 265.1hp/248.4tq @ the wheels on a Dynojet...

I would say that after all of those mods I would 1st get the JWT cams and then the TS ECU reflash - the cams on a fully-tuned car have shown gains of like 20+ HP/TQ across the board - read up for more info on my350z.com...

I would take a look at the June 2004 edition of Super Street magazine. They some good articles on the VQ35 and suggested improvements.

You may want to do some research and find the specs on the MotoRex 350Z...They went NA and pulled more than 400HP out of the engine...Not saying you need to go that hardcore, but their design may give you some ideas

This is possible ONLY if you go with the AEBS stroker kit and bore the engine to 4.26L and up the compression to 11.5:1 with the correct ECU program.... This way you will get about 325-340 at the wheels (around 400 crank) IF YOU ARE LUCKY. The problem is that this kit costs $8000 for parts ONLY - so you are looking at arounf $11-12K if you wanna do it right... and you are running into a lot of unknowns... For 1/2 the cost you can get teh Vortech kit and pull way more HP than that. Not to mention turbos.. Of course - ALL MOTOR is a beautiful thing!

That price does NOT include the money you would have to pay to TS to come up with the right ECU program.

Basically like Gurgen said. however the 11-5.1 compression is for Japanese applications ONLY Why Because the gas there is 100 Octane. so Unless you plan to pay for 100 octane Only from Unocal then the Stroker kit designed for the US is the 11.1 compression Still very expensive. Just get NOS like me 100 shot for around a Grand.. Best bang for the Buck....

I still don't see why people are so afraid of squeezing their engines...If you've built your motor right and tuned it correctly you can be confident using nitrous

Top Secret made a 450 hp all-motor VQ35 application over a year ago with off the shelf parts. if you have money like that, then by all means do it, it would be even sicker than a 450hp FI VQ35 motor any day.

I have a 100 shot. Using a Zex kit. If you install it correctly you will not have problems. Ofcourse you can not use it everydarn time you take off or it will wear the enging more. If you jet it correctly and keep it a bit rich to be safe, it's all good. By far this is the best mod I have ever installed. Pound for Pound. And you can not ask for more bang for the buck. I am putting down 342 to the rear. AT5 too. I have a few extra nice bolt ons, but you can simply not beat good old fashion No2.

For the VQ35 engine, going FI is kind of a waste. the max you can get out of it is 400-450(very well tuned), otherwise you're going to blow the engine for sure. Id say you are better off investing in an engine swap and then going FI for 500+ hp.

NA is the only way to go with the VQ35. costly though, but very well worth it.

Not if you Buid it right. Tom WhiteG35C is rebuilding his motor (Resleeving his block with the Aebs. This time with the Twin Turbos he will achieve 600 Hp on Pump Gas 700 Hp on Race gas. His first attempt at FI Netted him 410 Hp at the wheels with a single turbo ARIAS pistons/ Crower rods......
I would say that FI is the way to go with the VQ motor......You gotta Pay to Play with the Big Boys.....
