And the worst part is ~ 50% of 4 year college grads are functionally illiterate in critical skills.

Boys and girls, this is a prime example of the pot calling the kettle black.

If you look at the above quote and have successfully accomplished graduating from grade school you will note various errors in the "spelling and grammar" in this passage.

If you are going to be a jerk and add nothing to the conversation then at least make sure you proofread your posts. It is the button next to "submit reply" that says "preview post."

Best of luck.

When entered into Merriam-Webster online "reguard" comes up with the following:

Suggestions for reguard:
The correct spelling for the word you were looking for is R-E-G-A-R-D.

The proper use of the word "English" is to capitalize it.

Just a small snippet of the many errors. Now you can go ahead and get off of that horse you rode in on.

Every time there's someone who rants and raves about grammatical errors when they themselves write at a 2nd grade level. Get over it.

We all make mistakes.

Let's leave the new members alone. They come here for help and questions and the community is a place to share knowledge. We were all new here once and I have no doubt each and every member of this forum has asked a stupid question before at some point in their lives. We should at least be courteous to one another. In addition not all of our members have English as their first language. Some are from abroad and some have come to the US of A as immigrants. I hate to burst anyone's bubble but grasp of the English language does not determine intelligence.

Next time you think about being a jerk online, as I too have done before, just take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard. There's really no reason for all the hostility as we are all here as enthusiasts.

You can't call someone out for a few typos. What if he types at 80+wpm and made a few mistakes? Big f'in deal. He was stating that the OP basically has no grammar in his post at all, as if he blatantly doesn't give a crap. At least make something legible, but if you use shortcuts like u, ur, I don't really care. But make it so I can understand without giving me a damn headache!!
