I just purchased a new digital camera that also does video. On the way home from the store I shot this footage on a small straightaway. I thought you guys would get a kick out of it.

My watch indicated a rough 0-60 of around 6 seconds give or take, which seems about right for spinning so low off the line (under 1500 rpm). Launch her around a grand and a half higher (depending on your grip) and you could probably shave off another half second or so.

Anyway... don't mean to detract from the great video ;-)
I liked how clearly you got the speedo and tach.

What kind of camera did you buy??? Is it recording in SD media cards???

 

I don't have it with me but I believe it�s a Sony and yes it records to a 256meg SD chip, it works well.

Sorry guys, my mistake! I retimed it with a stopwatch and you're right, the 0-60 is more like in the low 5's. Then I thought, that doesn't make sense with your launch, since I have to wind her up to around 3000 rpm (depending on how hot my tires are) to get a similar ET with a G-Tech Pro...

So when I went back to look at what mods you must have, I realized you've got a blower!!! Stupid me, I didn't even look/ notice that the first time!

When I went back to listen, sure enough the Vortech's there clearly audible in the background... I heard it, but just attributed the whoosh to maybe some wind noise.
