Kendall Motor Oil ?

Does anyone have any feedback on Kendall Motor oil?

I went to firestone and have a coupon for an oil change since the final price with the coupon will be 32 dollars, but found out they only use Kendall Oil. I wasnt to sure about that brand so i am waiting feedback from you peeps first.

This is the brand the Porsche dealership in Jacksonville, Fl used on all of its services. Simply based on that fact, I always assumed it must be quality.

No experience with it here. Syn or dino? I presume dino...

I'd say probably nothing wrong with it, use a good filter, change it on time and don't sweat it.

Kendall is owned by ConocoPhillips whom also owns Phillips 66 and 76 Lubricants.

"We are excited to announce that 2006 marks the 125th birthday of Kendall Motor Oil! In 1881, the Kendall Refining Company opened for business, and has evolved into the premier lubricants brand that we all know and love today. We plan to celebrate this milestone all year long, and this month we thought it would be fun to uncover interesting events and trivia from 1881 for our first installment of a new monthly column celebrating 125 years of Kendall product innovation!"

Use it and like always just monitor your levels. I would see if they are using the GT-1 Synthetic fluid, which is what I would recommend.

so i went with this full syn. oil and i must say i think my engine likes it. i paid 32 dollars for the oil change at firestone, the car feels as if i had still was running my Catrol syn.

when i asked older crowd they all knew what kendall oil was, they said back then kendall was like Royal Purple or Mobil 1 now, It was must use oil.

so as of now ill stick to it

LOL. They could have used WalMart supertech and you'd be just fine. As long as they used the recommeneded OEM viscosties, you're okay.

Kendall Oil is perfectly fine. I used to work at Firestone and that's the oil that has always gone in my family's 04 RX330 which now has 115k on it. Used to use it in friends G35's that came in for oil changes as well and never had a problem.

got more feed back now than before. for the price of 32 bucks it saves me the hassel of getting under my car. use to get mobil one from Walmart then get a 10 filter from Autozone the price would come out to about 25-30 bucks so for an extra couple dollars i have Firestone do it, and save me alot of time and hassel

Neighbor is a mechanic (porsche & bmw). He has used kendall forever.
Remember watching him open the top of a bmw eng. that had around 160K+ miles on it. It was extremely clean inside!!! It had normal 3K oil changes with kendall.
