vortech over-heating issues

do any of you vortech guys still run a stock front bumper?
if so what have you done for cooling? that plastic section on the front bumper pretty much covers the entire intercooler... ive been thinking of running a twin intercooler setup but was unsure if it would work...

what have you all done to compensate for the extra heat?
and does anyone know the "gates" belt part number? the gatorback belt is a POS...
thanks in advance for any help!

There really isn't much you can do for cooling with a stock bumper. The stock bumper restricts ariflow to the intercooler. You'd be better off buying a open faced bumper like the TS, Greddy, Karuma Z bumper.

Yes it's possible to run a twin intercooler, but you'd have to custom fabricate everything. Back when I had stock bumper w/ Gialla lip, I wanted to keep that setup but have twin intercooler like the JWT kit.

Is your car overheating though? Or are you worried about potential overheating? I ran my Vortech setup w/ stock bumper + lip for quite a while before swapping out to a TS front. No issues with stock bumper & overheating at all.

^^ speed force racing just like he said! they custom make a dual that matches the jwt. prolly be close to a grand all said and done.

why do u think you are over heating? esp in the winter? lots of use run stock bumpers and its find. Hell thom0001 runs 750+ hp with the stock bumper and dual gt35 turbos.

How do you figure it runs hotter than normal? What temperatures are you seeing?
