Prototyping...

I wonder if the G35 started out looking anything like this?

This is a picture of two different mods that are in the works, a sunroof mod for the G35 and a custom remote air bag supension module for a custom 1975 Chevy pick up. This is for all those people who have PM'd me and asked me how the mods get started and for the people who wonder what kind of work goes into designing/building this sort of stuff!

Re: Prototyping...

when you are done with prototyping, can I have that exact board mounted in my car? I love the way everything just dangles about. it will give my car that "tuner" look.

=P

Re: Prototyping...

We had actually considered selling DIY kits at the very beginning. That was before we put up the money to become a legit, registered LLC. Once we did that we determined that all schematics, programming, designs, etc. are proprieatary information that we do not want to distribute.

Anyways, if we did offer to sell the scematics the circuits wouldn't do anything without the custom programmed microcontrollers.

Its been a long time coming, but here it is:

Testing will start in the next week or so.

With this module you will be able to close and either open or vent (programmable) the OEM sunroof from the OEM Infinti remote.

yeah, that was a picture posted BEFORE the 'big switch.' All those pictures are gone, I'm going to look and see if I can find the original picture, as it was very interesting, especially considering the final outcome!

installation is goin to be a bit tougher. you will have to run wires up to the sun roof switch in the roof. i cant remember what else you have to do right now though.

check out the shift light thread for another great kptech product.
