Why did you post this in the sedan section?

Double check you put the plugs back on right. You may have mixed up two of them causing a misfire.

Yeah, and Iridium plugs aren't supposed to be gapped. You did buy Iridium plugs, right?

he stated OEM nissan plugs which are NGK platinum's, i don't believe they come pre-gapped. You are correct about the NGK Iridium plugs coming pre-gapped though.

Doh! I was under the impression that our cars only used Iridium. If not, then we should since it's only a couple bucks extra. Hell, even older Camrys require Iridium plugs and it's just a Toyota family car.

I would get an OBDII reader from kragens which can be bought for like $25 and then see what codes are you are getting. are you getting noticeable vibrations? even when at idle?

Exactly! But that's why most of us are replacing them with Iridiums when it's time.

make sure all your electrical harnesses to your coils are connected to their respective coils and that they are "clipped" in tight. I inadvertently left one loose (cylinder 5) when i thought it was installed tight and the result was a harley motorcycle like sound out the rear and the engine idled rougher than usual and plus the ses light kept flashing... i was running on 5 cylinders do to misfire... popped the hood, reached in with a long screwdriver and pushed in coil harness tight and back to normal. No more ses light. this was done this past friday.

The oem plugs are NGK Laser Platinum and the ones I purchased before came pre-gapped.

I won't get into the iridium plug debate. I stay away from them based on personally seeing two engines blow from then coming apart. To each their own.

OP said he did one plug at a time so they are not out of order. I would do what FenixL1P said and double check everything you did. It had to be caused by something you did in the swap.

If you stay away from the Iridium's what do you use? Copper? Platnum?

if you want to get technically speaking, copper provides the best spark, Strongest out of iridium/platinum. The only benefits to platinum/iridium is better heat resistance and corrosion resistance so they last longer than copper.
