Found deals on Greddy CF air diversion panels $90 shipped

This isn't me selling it, its just to let other members know where they can get a good deal so I didn't put it in the for sale section.

Greddy is selling their CF air diversion panels for like $90 shipped which is a great deal!

Supposedly direct more air into the radiator so less air gets lost in the engine bay.

Yeah I think its more for looks too, but $90 is better than the $160 I've seen em for

Buying on eBay....is it worth the chance?

There's three thing wrong with buying these diversion panels
1. They're being sold on ebay....not the best quality merchandise for our cars. They may have the Greddy name written on them, that doesn't guarantee that's who made them.
2. What is the purpose of these panels, do they really make a difference? You could spend the $90+ on something else that might be
of more value to your car's performance.
3. If I wanted a diversion panel I'd want something JDM not just Greddy.... Something like ARC or Mishimoto.

G35Papa found out that with a little modification to the hood latch area the panels for the coupe will fit the sedan. He and I both now have ARC ones on our sedans. I would expect the Greddy ones to be the same modification.

Interesting perspective on this...

1. They look legit so far...

2. I completely agree about getting the most out of your money.

3. See number two...

We're not talking about wheels or other safety products where the quality of the material and production needs to be top notch... as a matter of fact, metal in Japan costs so much because supply cannot meet the demand. BS products like these being made in Japan seem to be hindering the production of the products we really want, bringing the prices up... just some food for thought...
