This has never been asked...

Can you take the long mandrel bent tube of the NISMO CAI and use it in place of the "Z-tube" and install a JWT Pop Charger at the end of that?

I ask this because I'm down here in Texas now where it rains in sheets.... SHEETS...where the puddles are about 1.5 feet high at the intersections. I have to change to a short/ram air intake (even though the NISMO CAI has a bypass valve...just to be on the safe side).


Just wondering if this has ever been done and whether it is worth trying...

i think having the nismo tube would be no different from having the z-tube. Perhaps keeping your z-tube would be better because the nismo tube stores heat and the whole point is to try to keep the air cold.
