HIGH REV parts on DE (intake manifold / dual intake conversion)
Anyone ever attempt to convert the DE with High rev parts. Such as the intake manifold and making it a dual intake. I'm sure it probably gives some pretty good gains.
Any thoughts on the possiblities of this and the results?
I'm looking for a HR Y pipe already. But have been pondering on the idea of the dual intakes on the DE motor.

I don't know for certain but I doubt it would be simple to get dual intakes working. The drive by wire ECU on the DE only knows how to read air flow and contol the butterfly in a single intake.
^^ What he said. . .
You'd also have to do some machining to match the ports as they've got a different design
there's someone in the marketplace that's selling the OEM dual intake plenum off an HR either here or on my350. . .try it out and let us know

Speed force racing makes an awesome dual TB/intake setup for the DE.
I don't think you will see much for gains by doing a HR manifold swap, at least not enough to justify the cost.
