I stole this letter from the post a little further down the page about blue gauges (its around post 90ish on the thread). I am very interested in a company making colored gauge clusters for the g because i absolutly HATE the orange. I would probably buy one of these the day that they were finished... hell id probably be a beta tester in my g if they would allow it

I LOVE it too, BUT, only if I could match everything else in my car. I'd want blue radio, ext. w/ maybe some red for contrast.

I think blue instruments w/ orange everything else would look horrid!

you hate the orange, but isnt the bulbs orange?
will a new color gauge change the color of the bulbs??

I'm glad you started a new thread from my post!

The NR White EL-Glo Gauge Face Overlays are basically white with black numbers for daytime driving & light up Blue or Green for night time driving.

What exactly are we talking about here, changing the lights behind the stock gauges or completely new overlays? If we are talking overlays than I wouldn't want gauges simlar to what burtcircuits posted. I would rather have the reverse glow versions, where the symbols and numbers glow and the background is dark. I have a pair for my 12 year old VW Corrado and they are awesome. More details please.

It's all or nothing. Blue gauges with an orange radio would look stupid IMO.

Very nice. I replaced my truck gauges and it was a bit tricky getting the needles off and on in the exact orientation. I wouldn't want to do that install with my G. Bulb changes would be ok. If it was not easy to mess up the G, I'd pay a couple of hundred to get that look.

 

Blue looks pretty hot, def would look stupid with orange radio and controls though!! Looks a little more blue than the VW and Audi's, but almost the same..

I believe the guages on the G's dash are all white bulbs with orange color in the overlays. The radio lights are the same with the station number display an orange color. The only way to switch it all out is to get new overlays for everything. The bulb color doesn't matter.
