HELP! snapped the top studs that screws engine cover down

HELP! snapped the top studs that screws engine cover down

hey need some help. how can i get the snapped studs out. i snapped both my upper portion bolts heads for the the engine cover.

i think infiniti torqued those bolts down on the engine cover when they we working on my car. ****s were so hard to turn so i ended up snapping them or they switched the bolts from upper to lower sicne there r 2 different sets unless im wrong,

Little studs/nuts....Snug is enough! :)

Go to the auto parts store and get an "Easy Out." Take one of the studs with you so you get the correct size. Sounds like you were cross threaded to begin with, those little nuts are easy to tighten. You used the word torqued, with what you're working on that's a bad woid....haha With the engine cover "Snug" is how you need to think, "Tight" is even to much! LOL
