Cleaning up the engine bay

So this spring I plan to clean up my engine bay,I have an 03 6mt with the turbonetics kit, cosworth intake manifold, greddy catch can,and more stuff.I am going to do the cooling mod with the removal of the oil cooler and bypass lines, add a new real oil cooler, and do the pathfinder cooling mod, what I would like to know is can I remove the evap system from the car,In alberta we have no emission testing and I have modified the car way past the point of ever going back to stock,I just dont want to have a code pulled,so how do I trick it,resistor seems like it should work, any input would be great ,Thanks
