If it is black after 3 months you are driving through some seriously crappy air. How many miles in 3 months?

I'd worry more about your lungs than the car.

Q45, some of us will keep our car till it's death. So we can do with it as we please. Like your 350,000 mile Q. I don't think you have to worry about bad karma from selling a car with over 100,000 miles on it. There are 100,000 other things the buyer has to worry about more than worn rings. Tires, shocks, no paint left, split leather, whether the paycheck cashing place is open, etc...

why do pple bug out cause my filter is black?? i dont understand? i said i was gettin a new one. its not like my G is not runnin or broken. it runs like new! LoL pple r CRAZY!!

I clean my CAI filter each time I do the oil change.
I does get really dirty quick. After I clean it, I could fell the car pull a bit faster..
just my 2 cents

How often should you clean and re-oil the cone filter?
