Random NO Start? Only at Night...
Here's the dealio...
Happened for the first time about a month ago, 2nd time about 2 weeks ago, 3rd time last night.
The car will crank, crank, crank, crank. Try to turn over, but won't.
It's nothing to do with the alternator, and the battery... of course... isn't dead. This isn't a click, click, click... it's trying to start.
This is also not a warm start. The first time it sat for about 1.5 hours during dinner. Last time it sat for about 20-30min.
All 3 times this has happened has been around 9-11pm. During the day I can stop and start it 10 times and it won't act badly or anything.
Last night was the worst. The other times I try about 3 or 4 times and it'll finally start up. Last night took about 45min and 10 tries. Finally unhooked the battery when someone brought me a wrench, hooked it back up and it started.
Someone was saying it could be a fuel issue?

Intelligent key or regular key? If its regular, maybe its the chip in the key. (i say this because if it is the intelligent key, itd be more obvious)
Do you have another key to carry for when this happens again you could just pop in and try?

If it is the intelli key he can just take out the actual key and insert it and use it just like a regular key, so maybe you should try that if you have intelli key and you haven't already. Did you ever find the possible fuel leak because of the smell Homie?
