RPM's climb off throttle
Something that I've somewhat recently (within the last couple months) noticed about my car is that when I let off the throttle and push the clutch in to shift gears the RPM's climb briefly. They climb maybe 300 to 500 rpm from when I let off the throttle
I'm not sure why this is happening. At first I thought maybe I wasn't getting off the throttle quick enough, but I tested that fact to make sure I am. It seems like it is somehow related to my clutch. Also I do have a lightweight flywheel idk if that would have anything to do with it. I appreciate any help, thanks! |
disengaging any parasitic drag from the transmission could play a slight roll, also maybe a brief delay in the drive-by-wire response. I notice it as well too. That is my theory atleast.

hmmm, well at least I know I'm not the only one with the problem now :)

Try doing an ECU reset. Unplug the negative battery connection and pump your brakes a few times. (this is the quick easy way...)
I had a similar thing happen to my G after it was at a paint shop for a few days. The reset worked for me. |
I'll give that a try joe603, thanks!
