Difference in VQ35DE motors??

Whats the difference in the VQ35DE Motors in the G35 and
these cars:
2002 - 2003 Nissan Maxima (5th generation 3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE w/o EGR)

2004 - 2008 Nissan Maxima (6th generation 3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE with EGR)

2002 - 2006 Nissan Altima (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE)

2003 - 2007 Nissan Murano (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE)

2004 - 2008 Nissan Quest (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE)

2002 - 2004 Infiniti I35 (3.5L DOHC V6 VQ35DE)

I ask because I was thinking about trying/testing these mods...
Phenolic Thermal Intake Manifold Spacer Kit (Front Wheel Drive VQ35DE Nissan/Infiniti)

http://www.nwpengineering.com/Phenol...rs.html#VQ30DE

I dont think all the spacers would fit but maybe the spacer that is right underneath the lower plenum. I was thinking it would be worth a shot...especially since the Maximas interchange so many parts from the Z and pathfinder motors to get power from, why cant we?

Any input would be great...thanks!!!!

You probably wont be able to use a strut bar or engine cover (full or half) with that manifold spacer… a better alternative is Motordyne’s Aramid gasket – its as thin as OEM (so you don’t have the clearance issues), we know it fits, and it does virtually the same thing as this phenolic version does in terms of thermal management. Does one give lower temps than the other? I don’t know… if the phenolic spacer is cheap enough, get one and check it out.

The difference between those engines is absolutely nothing. They all have the same bore, stroke and compression. The only difference is the ECU.

other than the manifolds, (intake, exhuast) the only diffrance is the tune (ecu) and the tranny, other than that everything is the same

I don't think any of those spacers in your link will work. They are all for the VQ30DE not the VQ35DE

so if you took one of those engines would it be interchangable with a -04 g35 coupe? i know of course the tranny and ecu is different. but if you use all the accesorys of the g35 would it work?
