To get the shifter portion console out (peice in first and second pic), what is needed to get that item out. Do you need to take the entire centre console out just to get that lower part out as well? Thanks!!

Okay, now I just have to figure out how to take my automatic shift circle plate off.

Very nice!

How is that custom made piece going to fit into things? I see that you're making a DIN sized opening, which is very nice. I think I need to go look at some pics of the G35 interior to get a better idea of what you're doing.

One of the things making me hesitant to get the G35 is the silly integrated headunit. It's good to see someone doing a custom dash install. Why can't car makers just use standard DIN or double DIN slots? The 350Z went the double DIN route, which is one of the factors putting the 350 higher on my list than the G35C.
