need help quick! Is a oil catch suppose to suck in air?
No, you need to get some RTV sealant and seal the spigot off. I filled the bottom with the sealant, up to the top of drain hole.
I would use plumber's tape around the threads and remove the filter element in the middle (white piece). Instead of sealing the bottom, I used a vacuum cap so I could remove it and still be able to use the manual drain.

it catches oil fumes and vapers collects them, if u does have one they go inside your intake manifold and the manifold will look like its a good mod in the long run too
