Best way to spend money on mods

I have allocated another $15-$20k on engine mods and body kit to which I have already spent $20k. With that type of budget, what do you fellow members recommend for FI, camshafts, pistons, etc. For the body kit, I am going with Top Secret front bumbers and INGs side skirt and rear bumbers. I am looking to produce at least 400whp+ but more importantly is reliability and not too much complication.

Re: Best way to spend money on mods

I would recommend donating about $5k of that to me then dispersing the remainder to the rest of the members...but that's just me..

On a serious note, I have no idea, sorry.

Re: Best way to spend money on mods

If I had that kind of money right now, I would be on the phone w/ AEBS and would be in line for their 4.3L stroker kit - includes sleeved block, forged pistons/rods, etc - then my next call would be to JWT, so I would be one of the firsts to get their TT kit (ball-bearing tubos, baby!) - those dual intercoolers made specifically for the G35 are too sweet to pass up.... you are then looking at:

AEBS Stroker Kit, installed by AEBS ~$8K
JWT TT Kit + Install, Tuning ~ $10K

$18-20K will get you the fastest G35 yet, you would easily be able to get 650 RELIABLE WHP out of this... and THAT is what I would do with 20 large right now...

With all of those new ponies, you might want to check into beefing up the transmission as well......

Re: Best way to spend money on mods

If I had $35k for a car plus another $40k for mods, I'd be shopping for a different car, but that's just me.

Re: Best way to spend money on mods

I already have my different car (2004 AMG E55). To some, this seems like waste of cash to put on a G35. However, I love the look and drive of this car and always wanted to have a tuned car unsuspecting to some of these high-end cars to which I can either run with or blow them away (specifically, BMW M5).
