Re: Speed Force Racing Plenum

The plenum you found is actually a SSR Engineering plenum. Here is the link:

Re: Speed Force Racing Plenum

In a thread started last night by SSR on my350z.com, they state that they are looking at a retail price of from $495.00 to $595.00. The thread was started to guage interest in the "Z" community. However, the manifold is currently mounted in a "G", and they are planning dyno runs with the "G". The "Z" guys were not happy about this. They want them run on a "Z". They, as always, are concerned about their precious strut bar, and whether or not it will fit.

Re: Speed Force Racing Plenum

I've been in the process of making one similar to this one
<img src=http://stagemotorsports.com/albums/album32/DSCN3815.sized.jpg>

The Runner length is longer as compared the one you posted and I'm sure has better flow.. Not to mention Looks =)

1100 Does sound a bit steep

That's the TS Z with 20" Volk GTCs. That's not a VQ35 though.

Re: Speed Force Racing Plenum

WOW that is sic. i was supposed to actually test the SSR intake manifold, but they wanted me to buy it for 1000 bucks and if they made it cheaper later, they would refund me. i thought about it, and thats one of the dumbest things ive ever heard so i said screw it. if anybody wants to test it, let me know and ill hook you up.

Re: Speed Force Racing Plenum

actually it is a vq35de. superstreet misprinted it is a vq30det (from a nissan gloria i think). however, if you look at the TS car, you can tell it is a vq35de... look at the vtc covers, dip stick... oil cap, exactly the same... the vq30det looks completely different.
