Engine cover cut

I saw a lot of pics where some of the members manage to keep a part of the engine cover once they have installed the plenum. How do you make this clean cut? What tool do you use?

I haven't done this myself, but I believe that a Dremmel would be ideal.

dremel..

taker easy!!

i opted for the Z cover, but the oem INF will fit over the v5 (but gets rubb marks from the hood liner!!)

Use a Dremel. First make a template with cardboard. Mark your cover, cut it too large, then refine the cut as you make it fit. It's easier to remove material, but impossible too add material if you cut it too small. Really not that hard a job.
